Marketing a Business
Marketing a business involves much more than just signing up for the latest and greatest widget business. If one is pursuing any type of business on the Internet, it is most imperative that a clear idea of the business, as it applies to products and/or services is vital if that business is to grow and prosper.
As an example, I will use the term franchise, as it applies to our new marketing campaign using the Franchise 2.0 business model. We have conducted an indepth analysis of the keyword term franchise on Google, and also on Alexa.com. We have uncovered many aspects of the conventional mode of franchising, and obviously, many of which I had no clue existed.
By following rigorous testing and research, we find that traditional franchise businesses are beginning to flatten out a bit. This could be due to the fact that a high ticket franchising business model is costly to pursue, and more often than not, that business will require rigorous hours in intensive work, to see that the plan grows effectively.
It is a sad but true fact on the Internet that most have no clue as to what real world marketing is all about. Should one become proficient at all aspects of marketing research and analysis, obviously, desired results will begin to happen. Without this necessary element, then one is simply going about the process of trying to fake it until you make it, to make the business plan work into profit.

A Podcast is a type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of files (either audio or video) subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication. The word is a neologism derived from "broadcast" and "pod" from the success of the iPod, as podcasts are often listened to on portable media players
A list of all the audio or video files currently associated with a given series is maintained centrally on the distributor's server as a web feed, and the listener or viewer employs special client application software known as a podcatcher that can access this web feed, check it for updates, and download any new files in the series. This process can be automated so that new files are downloaded automatically. Files are stored locally on the user's computer or other device ready for offline use, giving simple and convenient access to episodic content. In this way it is contrasted to webcasting (Internet streaming).
Podcasting is both a converged medium bringing together audio, the web and portable media player, and a disruptive technology that has caused some in the radio business to reconsider some established practices and preconceptions about audiences, consumption, production and distribution. This idea of disruptiveness is largely because no one person owns the technology; it is free to listen and create content, which departs from the traditional model of 'gate-kept' media and production tools. It is very much a horizontal media form: producers are consumers and consumers become producers and engage in conversations with each other.
